Cool Cat Burrito
/Working from home can mean a million different things to a million different people. Here is what it meant to me last Friday.
I kissed my sweet girl goodbye and watched her get on the bus for the THIRD DAY IN A ROW. I was able to work on my priority tasks UNINTERRUPTED and as a result they were completed in a fraction of the time.
I started digging deeper into non priority tasks that still needed some attention in between a very very long and entertaining group tasks with friends over the side part vs middle part on hair. Everything was light and fun and when I got to the email from my marketing partner that asked “which ads should we switch to?” I decided just to write a new one.
Fast forward an hour to lunch time and while I did not get persuaded to switch to the center part on my hair I did write this ad. And then I recorded the ad in my master bedroom closet because that is what happens now. I sent the script and the recording to my sound engineer with the request to “add some cool cat burrito music” to the beginning and not only did he not ask what I meant, he delivered. And my final ad showed up in my inbox this morning.
COVID has changed many parts of our life and the small random parts that end up making things easier and faster are my favorite.
Also, I mean it. If you are feeling stuck and emotional and you don’t know what to do first, just pick one thing and do that thing. It feels the best. Enjoy the ad.
