Friday Things 1-1-19
/Happy New Year!
The holidays were wonderful to us! We enjoyed hosting, we spent time with out favorite people, we ate amazing food, and best of all we watched the joy on our child’s face throughout. She had an absolute wonderful time and she embraced every single tradition that we have with gusto.
A week later, with all of the decorations and sparkle put away Steve and I took off to our annual Dealer Meeting. I say meeting… but is is part meeting, part goal setting, part motivation and part pure relaxation. We received our recognition award for 10 years in business and reconnected with some of the best minds in the business. Yes, we were on the beach in the Bahamas with no good cell or internet coverage. Yes, it took us a few days to clear out the sludge in our brains, but the result of that meeting.. AS IT ALWAYS IS…. is a razor sharp focus for the coming year and a renewed sense of excitement and energy.
After being back in the office for one week we can honestly say that we have put several major plans into action. Little things like changing our inconsistent phone service to big things like using technology in a whole new way. We even hired someone to come into the office and help with all of the tiny things that make a huge difference to our customers.
This weekend we’ll be out at Canterbury for the Home Improvement Expo and I expect we’ll be testing out our new Air Fryer and Watching Football by the fire all day Sunday.
